Episode 32: Black Ads History
As promised, we’re back and better than ever! On Ep 32 we introduce a new segment called Black Ads History diving deeper into important stories and conversations happening in the industry. We kick off the first one with the story of Emmett McBain, Chicago based graphic designer/art director known for his work in the 50s & 60s with some of the top Black-owned ad agencies of that era. This story also comes with a little surprise. (Hint: WE GOT MERCH!)
Don’t fret! We’re still keeping your fave segments Above the Fold (all of the timely topics like Meg thee Stallions Nike deal and Saweetie’s Ranch flavored Crocs?) and our game segment Guess that Spokesperson (which we are considering renaming ‘Just Give Janelle the Point’ or ‘Why Does Braunsy Even Bother?’ 😜) #WitchaBlackAds
